On November 4^th 2015, Doctor Oka Chinobuhiro, internationally famous expert in liver and transplantation surgery, Doctor Huang Pengyu and Professor Xu Wenrong from Shanghai Technology University came to make academic report in our hospital. Director assistant Yan Jinchuan presided the meeting and Director Chen Deyu delivered a welcome speech to the experts group on behalf of our hospital and made a brief introduction on the scientific technological development of UJSH. This academic communication is expected to push forward our clinical scientific development. Vice President of Jiangsu University, Shi Weidong, attended the meeting and issued the visiting professor appointment letter to Doctor Oka Chinobuhiro and Doctor Huang Pengyu.

    As the key clinical specialty of Jiangsu Province, the department of dermatology of UJSH, supported by the regenerative medicine center laboratory of JiangsuUniversity, has built close and long-term cooperation relationship with Yale University, University of Tsukuba, Yokohama University and Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences (SIBS). In this year, we have one program supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, one supported by Project of Social Development in Jiangsu Province, several subject studies receiving support from “333” Second Level Project of Jiangsu Province and Key Laboratory Project of Jiangsu Province. Li Yumei, vice director, the academic leader in this field, believed that this to be an great opportunity to provide impetus pushing UJSH forward to an international level.

Doctor Oka Chinobuhiro is the Surgeon General and professor in Digestive Organs and Organ Transplantation Department of University of Tsukuba. He is also one of the founders Institute of Regenerative Transplantation and Institute of Surgery in Japan. He specializes in mechanism of liver regeneration, clinical treatment of platelet and liver regeneration, and pathogenesis and new treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma. He has published over 160 international theses and successfully developed three dimensional imaging liver surgery simulation training and surgical support imaging system based on computer.

Doctor Huang Pengyu is the assistant professor, research fellow and PHD supervisor of Shanghai Technology University. Doctor Huang graduated from Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, CAS. He is primarily engaged in the research of liver disease and liver regeneration. He has published, as the first author, two pieces of original thesis on world famous academic journals, such as Nature and Cell Stem Cell. Professor Xu Wenrong, is the dean of Medical School of Jiangsu University, member of the Laboratory Medicine Branch of Chinese Medical Association, director of Key Laboratory of Laboratory Medicine of Jiangsu Province, member of the Professional Directing Committee in Medical Technology of the National Department of Education, academic leader of Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics of Eleventh Five-Year Plan of Jiangsu Province. He is especially engaged in molecular biology and diagnosis research of bone marrow stem cells and tumor, and has published several SCI papers.
